Charles W. Miller

Biography

Mr. Miller earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, in accounting from Valdosta State College in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from Walter F. Georgia School of Law, Mercer University in 1984. He began his legal career in Columbus in June 1984 and has practiced here since that date. Mr. Miller focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate, business, taxation, estate planning, probate, Medicaid, elder, contract, and condemnation law. He also litigates in these areas.

Mr. Miller is admitted to practice in all Trial Courts of Georgia, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Mr. Miller was admitted to the United States Tax Court in 1986. In addition to his practice, Mr. Miller has lectured on business law, estate planning, collection law and taxation to professional and private groups on many occasions. Mr. Miller is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Columbus Bar Association. Mr. Miller is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus Georgia and is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tree of Life Healthcare, Inc. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Safe Gun Technology, Inc.
